Within the Clayfield Swimming Program we run a Long Term Athletic Development Plan with the aim of giving all kids attending our program the opportunity to express their motivation.  Whether they are swimming to keep fit for other sports or whether they are training to see how Fast they can go in the sport, our development plan covers it all.

LTD Stages at Clayfield Swimming

  1. Active Start Stage – Levels 1 – 4 in our LTS program

  2. Fundamental Stage – Levels 5 – 9 in our LTS program

  3. Learning to Train Stage – Development Squad

  4. Learning to Compete – Junior Squad

  5. Training to Compete – Junior Comp & Junior State Squad

  6. Competing to Perform – Senior State Squad

  7. Performing when it counts – National Performance Squad

  8. Active for Life – Adult Fitness and Aqua Aerobics

As part of this Long Term Development Plan, we have built an ongoing relationship with external service providers in the Physical & Mental Health industry to support our athletes on their path to success.

The below service providers are our preferred providers and we are able to access and communicate with them on short notice to help our athletes achieve their goals without interrupting their training and preparation.
